Abstract

Sleep disturbances have been shown to have adverse medical, cognitive, and psychological effects in pediatric and adolescent populations. These effects are especially evident in maltreated youth. The goal of this study is to analyze sleep medication prescription practices for foster children and the change in these practices over time.
