Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent public health policies (eg, lockdown measures) across the United States have potentially impacted the patterns of violent acts among college students. The present study aims to: 1) juxtapose patterns of physical, emotional, and sexual violence before and during the COVID-19 pandemic; and 2) explore the risk and consequences of sexual assaults among sexual and gender minority (SGM) college students.
