Abstract

Sexual and gender minority (SGM) youths of color are exposed to worse mental health outcomes than their peers. Such disparity was exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic due to quarantine and fewer healthcare options. The present study aims to: 1) explore a differential risk profile in college students associated with sexual/gender and racial identities as compared with cisgender heterosexual White counterparts; and 2) investigate the impacts of multiple minority status (eg, SGM youth of color) on depression.
