Abstract

The identification of diagnostic, prognostic and predictive biomarkers is an essential task in the development and implementation of treatment in atopic dermatitis (AD). Integrating molecular data from high-quality patient samples with associated clinical data is central to this task. Here, we aimed to investigate associations of AD patients’ skin microbiome, clinical data and treatment response in the TREATgermany registry. Skin swabs of 130 patients were profiled with 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing before and after treatment with dupilumab.
