Abstract

Introduction: Pediatric ocular myasthenia gravis (POMG) is rarely reported and may present to the ophthalmologist as variable ptosis or strabismus. Diagnostic tests include the edrophonium (Tensilon®) test, single-fiber EMG studies, ice pack test, and acetylcholine receptor antibody (AchRAb) assay. A proportion of patients may progress to systemic disease. This study aims to demonstrate the signs at presentation and follow-up, difficulty in diagnosis and response to treatment.
