044 Penile Length Alteration after Penile Prosthesis Insertion Surgery

Abstract

To evaluate the changes of penile size after penile prosthesis insertion surgery which can be directly related to patient satisfaction. This study is a retrospective study. The subjects were 525 patients who were able to confirm the length of the penis by medical records from a single institution operated by a single surgeon from Jan 2015 to Mar 2018. The length of the penis was measured by the length of the pubic bone to penile sulcus. The measurement period was measured in a near erected state by Trimix injection before the operation, and after implantation, the implant was inflated immediately after surgery. The follow-up period was 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months. Depending on the patient, the measurement may be done only at 6 weeks or at least 12 months, so the number of patients measured at each time point is different.
