Abstract

The excess heat capacity (ΔC p ) at the glass transition of Ge- Sb-Se, Ge As Te and Si As-Te glasses has been determined from differential scanning calorimetry measurements. The composition dependence of the ΔC p of the three glass systems belonging to the I V- V- VI group show features at certain compositions. These results have been discussed in the light of the existing models.
