Abstract

Sodium niobate energy storage ceramics are widely concerned by many researchers due to their characteristics of antiferroelectricity, high polarization strength, relative breakdown resistance, light weight, and wide operating temperature range. In the present work, CaTiO3 was added to NN-BNZ to form a solid solution, which optimizes the energy storage performances of ceramics. By introducing a linear energy storage material CaTiO3, the energy storage characteristics of NN-BNZ ceramics were significantly improved. Especially, 0.90(0.88NN-0.12BNZ)-0.10CT ceramics exhibited a large Wrec (5.1 J/cm3) and higher η (83%). Moreover, the ceramics also present ultrafast t0.9 (35 ns) in the temperature range of 30–100 °C). The above results indicate that the 0.90(0.88NN-0.12BNZ)-0.10CT ceramics has the prospect of being a high-performance energy storage capacitor.
