Abstract

The article examines international relations in the North-Eastern Caucasus during the Russian-Iranian and Russian-Turkish wars of the early 19th century. Shown are the anti-Russian policy of Iran and Turkey, and pushing them to war with Russia, England and France, the activities of Iranian-Turkish agents to incite anti-Russian sentiments and actions among the northeastern rulers through bribery, giving valuable gifts, accepting under false citizenship, etc. The study has shown that attempts by foreign powers to prevent the strengthening of Russia's influence in the region have failed. Moreover, the North-Eastern Caucasus at the beginning of the XIX century. as a result of victories in the wars with Iran and Turkey, it was annexed to the Russian Empire.
