Abstract
The textbook examines the domestic literature of the Silver Age in the context of Russian and foreign culture. Periodization, content, and poetics of literature are presented here in connection with intra-literary processes and the influence of historical factors. The main part of the book, devoted to poetry, prose, drama, is preceded by a section on the humanitarian consciousness, which occupied, worried, and encouraged a person of the epoch that completed the New Age and began the Modern age, an era that had to begin the modernization of all kinds of art. The introductory section includes an overview of trends in painting, theater, music — in connection with the processes in fine literature. The review paragraphs are supplemented with paragraphs dedicated to the most significant writers. The textbook meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation, is intended for undergraduate students of philological faculties, will be useful for undergraduates, graduate students, students of advanced training faculties, teachers of humanities.
