Abstract

The article dwells on the correlation issue of different composition and structure in poem corpuses by Alexander Blok with the identical headline "Verses about the Beautiful Lady" in the light of the problem of studying the poetic myth about the Beautiful Lady. The correlation between the book "Verses about the Beautiful Lady" by Blok and the identically entitled central section of the "approved" first volume of Blok's lyrics is observed in this context. Particular attention is paid to the history of the title, which is associated with the publication of a cycle of 10 poems in the almanac "Northern Flowers", as well as Valery Brusov’s possible participation in choosing the title when publishing this cycle.
