Abstract

The current article discusses the main types of key performance indicators (KPIs) of human resources (HR) of higher education institutions (HEIs). KPIs defined for the evaluation of HEIs' HR performance can help HEIs to identify and indicate the current and potential problems relating their HR activities and to provide timely and targeted solutions to them. The selection of specific types of KPIs should derive from the peculiarities and strategies of HEIs. Based on the results of literature review and research of different performance measurement tools, specific types and respective examples of HR KPIs have also been provided in the article, which can guide HEIs (including HEIs of the Republic of Armenia) to (re)elaborate and improve their HR performance evaluation processes.
