Abstract

Creativity which is the most important factor in science can be developed by TV program. The characters of TV-Picture, Sound, Action, and composition-should be considered increasing the quality of T V program. The purposes of this study were : ① to prove the assumption that well- produced TV science program can be contributed to develop the children``s creativity, ② to produce the experimental TV science program depended on the creative learning model, ③ to identity the guidelines producing the TV science program by evaluating the produced program. To satisty with the purposes, the followings are done by the researcher. First, TV production theory and criteria were studied, second, creative learning model was revised for TV science program. An "Electric Magnetism" ①, ② programs for elementary 6th grade were produced by the researcher, and then it was examed by two groups ; first TV production team which was composed by producers and science researcher, second, nonproduction team which was composed by teacher s who are using the TV science program at the class. The result s of the study were follows ; ① The previous TV science programs which were broadcasted at March to July, 1989, were good at the field of educational function and state production theory. ② Comparing the previous program, the experimental one got the high positive reaction in the field of content build up and state production theory (t=5.81, P<.01) ③ Nonproduction team was proving better positive react ion in the educational function and state production theory than production team (F =4.06, P<.05) Finally, the experimental program proved the well produced TV program can be contributed to develop the children `` s creativity. For further study, the production team and the teacher should have continious research effort s in TV science program.
