Abstract

In the instances of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, when the body feels lack of oxygen, several herbs are used in folk medicine that have antioxidant properties. One of these herbs is the meadow clover (Trifolium prаtense L.). Studies have shown that in ecologically unfavorable conditions, the body experiences lack of oxygen as well. As a result, the rate of respiration, blood pressure, and heart rate increase. Ten days after taking the tincture of clover flowers, these indicators start approaching the norm. This is due to the activation of the body's adaptive mechanisms under the influence of antioxidants contained in clover flowers.
