Abstract

This article presents the results of surgical treatment of 3 patients aged between 35 and 42 years with stage II anterior vaginal wall prolapse who underwent a trocar-less transobturator correction of anterior prolapse with titanium mesh implants of individual sizes according to a newly developed technique using titanium fixators. The efficacy and safety of the new trocar-less surgical technique for correcting stage II anterior vaginal wall prolapse in patients of reproductive age using titanium implants and fixators were demonstrated. Conclusion. The trocar-less fixation of titanium implants of individual sizes using 4 titanium fixators, their combination with non-absorbable ligatures into a single functional unit, and multifocal fixation of implants contribute to the normalization of anatomic position of pelvic organs, relief of anterior prolapse symptoms, lower risk of injuries to obturator vessels and nerves, and lower incidence of mesh-related complications. Key words: pelvic organ prolapse, TiMesh-ligature colpopexy, trocar-less transobturator correction, titanium fixators
