Abstract

Abstract Non-yrast states in 114 Sn have been studied in the compound-nucleus reaction 112 Cd(α, 2n) 114 Sn by γ-ray spectroscopy with the Compton-suppressed Ge-detector array OSIRIS-cube. γγ-coincidences, γ-angular distributions, the linear polarization of the γ-rays and the sidefeeding have been measured. 253 new transitions and 156 new states were observed. Spins and parities were determined for 84 levels.
