Abstract

This study compares and analyzes overseas cases of RIT(Rapid Intervention Team)tactical data with domestic RIT tactical data, and proposes an efficient RIT search and rescueplan based on this. Accordingly, we collected tactical data from American RIC and GermanANTS, identified their strengths and characteristics, and proposed necessary and appropriatecontent for domestic RIT tactical data. Regarding the number of RIT personnel, a minimumof 12 professional (trained) personnel, including teams to be rotated, are required, and strategies and improvisation to respond to various disaster sites are also required. And, aboveall, since the goal is to quickly rescue stranded fellow firefighters, appropriate training andeducation must be conducted consistently. In particular, professional education and trainingshould be strengthened for RIT team leaders, search route and evacuation route securitypersonnel, and isolated fellow firefighter search crews so that they can effectively cooperateand coordinate missions when performing missions.
