Abstract
The occurrence of infections that cannot be treated with antibiotics is no longer a threat but already a reality. We report the case of a bloodstream infection due to a K.pneumoniae co-harboring NDM and OXA-48 carbapenemases. This rare panel of antibiotic resistance highlights our vulnerability to infections with extensively multiresistant germs, a global public health issue that we comment on in this article.
