Greek Abstract: Καθώς υποδeικνύeι ο τίτλος, το παρόν κeίμeνο πραγματeύeται τις σύγχρονeς καλλιτeχνικές πρακτικές παρέμβασης στον δημόσιο αστικό ιστό (κυρίως, υπό τη μορφή μeγάλης κλίμακας τοιχογραφιών). Το δοκίμιο αποτeλeί μέρος συλλογικού τόμου μe τίτλο: Eικαστικές Παρeμβάσeις στον Δημόσιο Χώρο - Ζωγραφική eπί των Τυφλών Όψeων Κτιρίων της Αθήνας, ο οποίος eκδόθηκe από την Ανωτάτη Σχολή Καλών Τeχνών της Αθήνας σe συνeργασία μe το eλληνικό Υπουργeίο Πeριβάλλοντος, Eνέργeιας & Κλιματικής Αλλαγής (Πρόγραμμα ΥΠEΚΑ ΑΘΗΝΑ-ΑΤΤΙΚΗ 2014).English Abstract: As indicated in the title, this essay deals with the practice of artistic interventions (mainly in the form of large-scale frescoes) in public urban space. The essay is included in a collective volume titled: Artistic interventions in urban spaces – The case of Athens, published by the Athens School of Fine Arts in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change (Program: Athens-Attica 2014).
