Abstract

The origin of the attempt to calculate infinity in mathematics goes back to a century. God died because of the attempt of mathematics to draw the Infinite, that is, the divine into the world of worldly calculation. But as the infinite secularization process progressed, the paradox of set theory brought mathematics into crisis again, and new questions such as “How can we eliminate these paradoxes?”BR At this point, Gilles Deleuze questions whether this paradox is a disease that must be eliminated. He tells us that the moment we face the limit of paradox, our thinking begins. The meaning is not already given, but it depends on sequencing, and paradox can only be positive if we accept it as the beginning of the thought. From this point of view, the paradox that has been regarded as a disease to be removed from mathematics can serve as an opportunity to create healthy thoughts. Could it be a reason for health, according to the ‘way of dealing with disease’?BR This paper starts from these questions. First of all, I will briefly review the theorem of Gehdel, which caused a crisis in the completeness or recklessness of the truth in mathematics and what Cohen
