Abstract

The study is based on the theory of technology acceptance model (TAM) and theory of planned behaviour (TPB) to explain and predict the relationships of factors related to the use intention of the elderly for digital banking. Based on a sample of 350 customers, CB-SEM was used to test hypotheses on the intention of the elderly to use digital banking. The results show that the intention to use digital banking of the elderly is mainly influenced by the usefulness and attitude of the elderly. Besides theoretical contribution, the findings of this study can help bank administrators develop better strategies to increase the intention to continue using digital banking among the elderly.
