Abstract

The purpose of the study is to review the current development status of the NCS(National Competency Standards) and presents directions to consider for the NCS development and learning modules etc. in the real estate sector. Future assignments to be considered for the NCS in the real estate sector are as follows. First, we need to modify the classification of real estate sector in NCS. It has been included in the business and sales sector, but it doesn’t take into account social and public nature of real estate. Second, we should consider the peculiarities of the real estate sector in promoting development of the NCS learning modules. Considering the pluralistic and complex fusion that could respond to changes in the real estate industry is required. It should further enhance the specificity of the nature of on-site activities, the real estate sector. Furthermore, job attitudes are very important in the real estate sector having a social and public good. Third, for the relevant agencies of the real estate sector, it is necessary to prepare a variety of environmental change, including restructuring, intra-industry wage system reform, evaluation of skills qualifications depending on the progress of the NCS future business.
