Abstract

In the limit of collinear U(6) symmetry, the electromagnetic form factors of baryons do not depend upon the separate singlet vector meson coupling which is characteristic for this symmetry. Introducing ωϕ mass-splitting in the pole terms of the form factors, one can relate this coupling directly to the electric form factor of the neutron. It is shown that the experimental information about the electromagnetic form factors does not require a special supression of the separate single coupling.
