Abstract

The disturbance attenuation problem is discussed with the preview compensation of stored initial disturbances in terms of H∞-performance. The stored disturbance describes the perturbation of preview control systems, which is caused by the change of reference signals. The problem provides an H∞ control law, which has preview compensation, and enables to robustly stabilize the preview control system with favorable time domain performance. For the resulting control law, the relation between the disturbance attenuation and preview compensation is investigated.
