Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and globalization processes leads to a change in the modern educational paradigm. The world's leading higher education institutions are introducing innovative technologies, so teachers and students in the process of educational interaction are increasingly creating the latest educational environments. Among the innovative educational trends, distance and blended learning stand out, which is characterized by the integration of best practices of traditional and electronic educational interaction at the level of a separate educational program of the course or discipline. Emphasis is placed on the usefulness and convenience of G Suite for Education (Google Classroom, Google Meet and a set of other tools) – a free package of cloud software and digital tools from Google for distance learning. To ensure distance learning of students in quarantine and create a single information environment of the institution, teachers and administration of Poltava National Pedagogical University named after V.G. Korolenko switched to using the Google GSuite for Education cloud services package. Google Classroom G Suite for Education's cloud-based platform makes learning more productive: allowing you to conveniently publish and design tasks, organize collaboration and effective interaction of all participants in the learning process. Creating courses, handing out assignments and commenting on students' work can all be done in one place. Google Classroom is a user-friendly learning platform that makes your education system as flexible, interactive, and personalized as possible. At the same time, each student can adjust the pace of material perception, processing and assimilation of information, which in turn increases interest and, consequently, increases motivation to learn, better assimilation of material and encourages self-development and self-education.
