α-Isocedrene derivatives, 5-methyl coumarins and other constituents from the subtribe nassauviinae of the compositae

Abstract

The investigation of four further representatives of the subtribe Nassauviinae afforded in addition to known compounds 17 α-isocedrene derivatives, four methyl coumarins, three methylchromones, three 1βH-guaiene derivatives and three nerolidol derivatives. The structures were elucidated by highfield NMR spectroscopy. The chemotaxonomy of the subtribe Nassauviinae is discussed briefly.
