Abstract

We investigate the mixing between a τ and an SU(2) R gaugino in a supersymmetric left-right gauge model. This mixing violates the universality between e-μ and τ. An appreciable amount of mixing can be obtained for a range of model parameters, which might explain the somewhat large lifetime of τ observed in the experiments. The effects of τ-gaugino mixing would also be seen in e +e −→ τ + τ −, in particular, at the Z pole.
