Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of combined exercise on body composition and physical fitness according to FTO gene polymorphism in 20~50 year olds.BR For this purpose, we performed independence sampling with the two group 6 people for a AA + AT gene group and 10 people for a TT gene group according to genetic polymorphism in 16 workers. We performed body composition (eight, weight, BMI, fat mass, Body fat %, muscle mass, waist circumference, hip circumference, WHR) and physical fitness (grip strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance). The variables in body composition and physical fitness were calculated by two-way ANOVA with repeated measures(SPSS win ver. 20. 0). The results obtained from this s tudy were as follows: First, In the changes of body composition, BMI and body fat percentage showed a tendency that TT gene group(p.05) decreased significantly as the exercise treatment period was longer than AA + AT gene group. Body fat mass showed a tendency to increase significantly with increasing exercise duration compared to TT gene group in AA + AT gene group(p.05). There was no statistically significant difference in interactions between group intervention and treatment periods in WHR. Second, in the change of physical strength, there was a significant difference in grip strength, flexibility, cardiopulmonary endurance. There was no statistically significant difference in the interaction between group intervention and treatment period.
