Abstract
During the investigations of chemical properties of the available β-ethoxyvinyltrifluoromethylketone we found it to be convenient comprehensive starting material for synthesis of various fluoro- containing compounds - heterocycles, enones, enaminones: ▪ The 4,4,4-trifluoro-3-oxo-l-butenyl group formed of β-ethoxyvinyl- trifluoromethylketone is a suitable protecting group for the protection of the N-H terminal of amino acids in peptide synthesis. The formation of peptide bonds using on these protected amino acids occurs without racemization.
