Abstract

The β-ecdysone titer in pharate pupae of the stable fly, Stomoxys calcitrans (L.), exposed to diflubenzuron [Thompson-Hayward TH 6040; N-[[(4-chlorophenyl)amino]carbonyl]-2,6-difluorobenzamide] as larvae in artificial diet was analyzed by high-pressure liquid chromatography. No significant differences between treated and control groups were found in the β-ecdysone titers within the first 10 hr after pupariation.
