Abstract

The structure of ΔΔ dibaryon is studied in the extendedchiral SU(3) quark model in which vector meson exchanges are included.The effect of the vector meson fields is very similar to that of theone-gluon exchange (OGE) interaction. Both in the chiral SU(3) quarkmodel and in the extended chiral SU(3) quark model, the resultant massof the ΔΔ dibaryon is lower than the threshold of theΔΔ channel but higher than that of the ΔNπchannel.
