Abstract

The article presents a rare clinical case of treatment of diffuse toxic goiter with the use of antioxidant preparations, preparations containing cholecalciferol, B vitamins, iron preparations and omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids with positive dynamics. The clinic and pathogenesis of Graves' disease and the effect of vitamin D on the pathogenetic pathways of autoimmune diseases are discussed.
