Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of trade exhibition participation on global competitiveness on Korean listed firms. We also explore moderating role of Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) between trade exhibition participation and firm performance. We analysed data of 516 listed companies from 2016 to 2018 using regression. As a Result, the Trade Exhibition Participation has a significant positive effect on global competitiveness. It also showed that Corporate Social Responsibility has played a positive moderating role between trade exhibition participation and firm performance. Corporate Social Responsibility in exhibition participation as moderating variables can apparently increase global competitiveness. Therefore firms might recognize importance of CSR activity as tool of marketing which can improve brand image.
