In modern medicine, more and more attention is paid to problems diagnosed during pregnancy, which significantly increase the risk of complications and adverse outcomes of pregnancy and childbirth. COVID-19 infection may adversely affect the course of pregnancy, including the development of gestational diabetes mellitus.
