Abstract

The article presents data on the species diversity of blood-sucking arthropods in settlements of various types of the Mogilev region of Belarus. A total of 2 species of Ixodidae − Ixodes ricinus and Dermacentor reticulatus has been found; 18 species of mosquitoes from 3 genera (Aedes, Anopheles, Coquillettidia) and 5 black fly species from 3 subgenera of genera Simulium have been found. The abundance of Ixodidae ticks averaged 12.3±2.9 per flag/km, adult mosquitoes – 31.8±9.5 ind. per sampling, larvae – 26.0±9.4 ind. per square meter, immature black flies – 47.7±13.6 ind. per square decimeter.
