Abstract

The authors of the article argumentatively proof the components of civil society and determine the role of non-commercial sector in it. The authors study the existence of legislation and determine the laws, governing the establishment of organizations, non-commercial organizations. In connection with the different names which are the part of non-commercial sector of civil society of Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia is given the common name of non-commercial sector as an organization of social society (OSS) and an organization as a subject – social organizations (SOs). The general analysis and data analysis on Regions are represented, statistical data of the registered social organizations in the registers of the Baltic States. The exis-tence of connection between the registered organizations and the number of population in regions, in every country – Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and generally in Baltic States in comparison.
