Abstract

The article is about development of an automated accounting system for users of interactive television (ITV) for enterprises providing telecommunications services. Timeliness of this article consists in the principle of automation which controls the subscriber’s unit. Timely withdraw funds and responding to changes in IPTV services is an important task for an enterprise providing telecommunications services. The billing system «Billing.Pro» is an automated accounting system provided by telecom operators and their tariffing and invoicing for payment. This system must be further developed for automated accounting and management of subscriber’s units of ITV. Controlling subscribers’ access to services of interactive television service was developed in the billing system using the functions. Control is performed depending on the balance in the personal account of the subscriber and the subscriber status (active / inactive). For the development of the automatic shutdown of subscribers’ units used by the debtors, it is necessary to implement a trigger and an external function send-off request. Another priority is to develop a function permitting the user to do the accrual of ITV services. As a result of the creation of application additional modules for billing system Billing.Pro have been developed. They allow automating users’ accounting of interactive television in enterprise using the existing infrastructure. These modules significantly simplify and speed up the work of the system operator. The versatility of applications will be integrated billing system with other complexes of IPTV services in future.
