Abstract

This study aimed to explore senior elementary science guidance to teachers on how to POE teaching strategies for the teaching of science teaching field, the teaching process to the ADDIE model to build a teaching case videos. I hope after watching the video pre-service teachers can learn from the senior elementary mentor teaching to the POE teaching strategy used in teaching skills and to solve the troubles encountered by the POE teaching strategies, as pre-service teachers learn the use of inquiry teaching willingness to improve pre-service teachers for the future implementation of inquiry-based teaching. According to the related literature and in the light of Ching-Hsien Chen (2010) survey results do, decided to select「electricity magnetism」,「material combustion」,「light refraction」through focus group interviews, explore the ADDIE model to build POE teaching case videos, and then the use of teaching evaluation method to evaluate the part of teachers' teaching in the film. The results obtained from this study are as follows: (1) senior elementary mentor teachers will select the appropriate unit according to the teaching objectives to the implementation of POE instruction to create the concept of conflict, and enhance students' interest in learning and provide opportunities for conceptual change and restructuring. (2) POE instruction questions must meet the students 'life experiences and prior knowledge, in order to improve students' motivation to learn the process of teaching the appropriate guide can help students to think and explore, and finally to help students construct correct scientific concepts. (3) Teaching cases should be designed to meet the needs of pre-service teachers, showing clearly the senior counseling teachers to use the POE teaching strategy for inquiry-based teaching, to give pre-service teachers' alternative experience and learning reference. In order to resolve the issues facing pre-service teachers and enhance teachers’ inquiry-based teaching abilities, this study suggest filming the teaching case of more inquiry science units , using network platforms to organize learning communities, and engaging in dialogue with science mentor teachers and professors.
