Abstract

The article is a publication of a burial no. 40, one of the most interesting complexes discovered during the investigation of the ground necropolis of Artyushchenko II located at the southern part of the Taman peninsula, about 15 km to the south-west of the Cossack village Taman. The burial can be dated to the edge of the first and the second quarter of the 5th century BC. It can be considered as a standard for men’s burials at the necropolis of Artyuschenko II.
