Abstract

The topic of this paper is to describe the process improvement for the registrar’s office, academic affairs, faculty of engineering, Chulalongkorn University in 2008. This improvement can be realized under the concept that the global efficiency of the registrar’s office depends on the properly and well-defined protocols or operation rules combining with officers’ understanding. The key index of its successful is to increase the satisfaction level for services. Our study demonstrated how the efficiency of services and the problem analyzing and solving capacities can be improved by regarding the processes. In fact, it should consider operation processes, procedure, rules, announcement, and also removing some unnecessary works. The important result shown that this improvement can support the faculty of engineering to accomplish the vision of the faculty: The Faculty of Engineering is regarded as Thailand’s strongest academic institute in engineering and leader in education and research. We train our students to be conscientious and ethical engineers.
