Abstract

Purpose. Increasing the effectiveness of teaching historical and legal disciplines, ensuring their connection with the profession, combining the retrospective analysis of law with digital technologies within the framework of the educational process and the formation of thinking and skills of a lawyer on this basis. Methodology: the principle of historicism, dialectics, synergetics, digital humanities, legal source studies, juridical and technical methods. Conclusions. The need to improve the teaching of historical and legal disciplines using digital technologies. Scientific and practical significance. Introduction of new types of communication into the educational process of law schools, transmission of time-tested legal material and information on the history of law and state using digitalization tools, increasing students’ interest in mastering historical and legal disciplines.
