Abstract

The article considers the socio-economic processes in the Republic of Crimea in 2019-2022. Based on the methodology developed by scientists D.Yu. Zemlyansky, L.V. Kalinovsky, A.G. Makhrova, D.M. Medvednikova, V.A. Chuzhenkova and used to determine the complex index of socio-economic development of Russian cities, the index of socio-economic development of municipalities of the Republic of Crimea was calculated. As a result of the calculations, the municipalities of the Crimea were divided into six groups, depending on the level of socio-economic development: municipalities with maximum, high, increased, medium, low and minimal levels of socio-economic development. It is concluded that municipalities with the lowest level of socio-economic development are located in the northern part of the Crimean peninsula (Dzhankoy and Krasnoperekopsky districts), and with a low, mainly in the eastern part. In turn, the largest number of municipalities with maximum, high and increased level of socio-economic development is recorded in the southern part of Crimea. Most areas of the central part of Crimea have a medium level of socio-economic development.
