Abstract

Abstract The Sino-Saudi political relations has continued to develop between November 2012 and the beginning of 2016, but it is remarkable that most studies focus on the economic aspect of this relations, without shedding sufficient light on the political aspect. Therefore, this paper analyzes the scale and achievements of the two historic visits of Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz to Beijing in 2014 and President Xi Jinping to Riyadh in 2016, to study the development of political relations between the two countries and its main influencing factors, focusing on the strategic vision of President Xi in foreign policy, and the positioning of Saudi Arabia in China’s strategic deployment.
