Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the representation of the category of time in the poetics of Viktor Kolupaev's short prose in the cycle "Life as a Year" (1982). The author considers separately the categories of space and time because of their equivalent position in the text and the presence of their own characteristics. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the study of the works of Kolup-aev's short prose from the point of view of its spatio-temporal organization. As a result, the author revealed a synthesis of two temporal models (mythopoetic and subject-psychological), realizing Kolupaev’s idea of life as a miracle in the program cycle "Life as a Year", first attributed in the literary aspect.
