Творчество И. С. Тургенева в оценке китайской литературной критики (1980-2010)

Abstract

The work aims to determine the state of studying I. S. Turgenev’s creative work in China, to provide a short overview of the lines of modern research. In this article, the author has submitted representative results of literary criticism works by the Chinese authors covering the period from 1980 to 2010. The work is novel in that it presents and systematises approaches to studying different artistic aspects of Turgenev’s creative heritage in China at the current stage. It shows development history and reflects important scientific findings of Turgenev studies in China over the last thirty years. The article identifies and thematises the main aspects in the field of studying Turgenev’s literary heritage and presents their main content features. The attained results have shown that over thirty years of working with Turgenev’s literary heritage, there have been formed independent fields of study in China, but the main bulk of research is still based on developments of the Russian and Soviet literary criticism.
