Abstract

This paper presents test results of the Gas Turbine (GT-16P) experimental low emission combustor (LEC) investigations at pressures up to 2000 kPa and ambient temperature within the ±25 о С range. The applied technical solutions allow automatically controlled transition to the Low Emission operation without combustion noise. The emission test results confirm the high combustion efficiency in in the wide operating range and low emission of carbon and nitrogen oxides at the GT loads from 70 to 100%. The automatic fuel control splits the LEC fuel flow between the fuel supply channels including the combustion noise protection. The dynamic pressure magnitude is kept below the acceptable maximal value.
