Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop the evaluation criteria for korean and grammar textbooks in the high school. For this purpose, the study limits the range of evaluation to authorization and adoption. And just like the textbook evaluation process in California, this study adopts IMAP(Instructional Materials Advisory Panels) and CRP(Content Review Panels). The procedures for developing evaluation criteria are as follows. First, the criteria are collected by analyzing preceding literatures. Second, perceptions for evaluation criteria are surveyed by Delphi-technique(I). Third, the validity of the evaluation criteria are evaluated by Delphi-technique(II). Finally, the evaluation are revised with data collected by Delphi, in-depth interview results, and opinions from expert consultation. The final 12 korean and 12 grammar textbook are then developed with the revised criteria. The purpose of this study is to develop the procedures in the development of korean textbook evaluation criteria However, further studies with more data are needed for validity.
