Abstract

We studied the indexes of fetoplacental hemodynamics, intrauterine fetal status and estimated the activity of the processes of lipid and protein peroxidation and the content of the vasoactive molecules in pregnants with different types of herpetic infection. It was established that herpetic infection is accompanied by signs of fetal distress, increased lipid peroxidation, oxidative modification of proteins on the background of the reduction of endogenous reserves of glutathione.
