Abstract

When designing the structure and assigning parameters of the control process, as an important component of ensuring the life cycle of the packaging machine, it is important to take into account the conditions of its future operation, maintenance and repair. Implementation of this approach is possible only with functionally oriented design technologies. The basis of this concept is the recurrent connection between the stages of the design and technological design of the packaging machine (PM), as well as the planning of its manufacture and support, which are coordinated by a specially designed distributed information medium. When applying the concept of functionally oriented design, it is possible to achieve an overlap of all stages of the life cycle of the packaging machine, which ensures an increase in the quality of its functional and consumer properties and the efficiency of quick fulfillment of an individual order. The func¬tional approach to the process of developing and creating new packaging machines is based on the definition that any material object is a certain set (matrix) of functions, among which useful, harmful and neutral functions can be distinguished. The functional approach, in contrast to the objective approach, based on the fact that the created product must meet a number of functions which can be provided by individual material carriers which are the cheapest or work with the least expensiveis described inthe article.Such a technological design process can be promising, at the transitions of which, simultaneously with the formation of useful functions, the weakening or elimination of harmful functions and, if possible, the elimination of neutral functions takes place. An analysis of the hierarchical structure of the separate packaging machine for small artificial food pro¬ducts is given. Schemes and models for the implementation of multi-stage step-by-step multi-criteria synthesis were developed using the example of functional mechatronic module of feeding a loose product into a packaging machine, the feasibility of using functionally oriented design for various PM layouts was substantiated. The results of theoretical studies are the basis for experimental studies.
