Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of morphogenesis, variants of structure and topography of the uterine tubes at the beginning of the fetal period by means of classical methods of anatomical examination (macro- and microsection, morphometry, preparation of topographic-anatomical cuts). Nowadays scientific literature presents fragmentary and unsystematized facts concerning anatomy of the female reproductive system. This fact is paradoxical a little considering a quick progress of modern medicine, and development of fetal surgery in particular. 30 specimens of dead fetuses of 4-6 months of development were examined. During this period of development the uterine tubes are found to change their shape and topography. In case on the 4th month the uterine tubes are in an ascending position touching the loops of the small and sigmoid intestines, they often take a horizontal position on the 6th month. The shape of the uterine tubes changes as well from curved in fetuses of the 4th month to zigzag or spiral shapes in the fetuses of the 6th month.
